Council eyes spending $125,000 to improve borough water supply

The Sussex Borough Council on Thursday introduced a bond ordinance to spend an additional $125,000 to improve the borough’s water supply and distribution system.
The money will be used for the replacement of the Main Street water lines to go along with the borough’s plans to revitalize its Main Street area.
There will be a public hearing on the ordinance at the council’s regular meeting on August 16.
