World Snowboard Day is back

| 16 Dec 2013 | 02:58

The World Snowboard Day’s 8th edition will take place on Sunday, Dec. 22, with the same goal as every year: organizing activities for free, open to anyone and everyone to discover the joys of sliding on snow, to share a common passion for snowboarding.

In 2012, World Snowboard day hosted 152 events in 35 countries, attracting more than 100,000 participants. In 2013, event organizers will once again plan a whole host of activities for this exceptional event: contests, beginner snowboard lessons, gear tests, demos, meet-and-greets with professional riders, drinks, concerts, video contests, and more. Federations, resorts, clubs, shops, pro riders, associations and brands from all over the world are already on their way to putting together a program.

There are 26 events in 14 countries already on board including the following US locations:

    Arapahoe Basin Ski Area
    Killington Mountain Resort

    Pico Mountain
    Raging Buffalo Ski Park
