Woodbourne 5K set for Sept. 21
Wantage. Wantage Township will host race, which will be held at Woodbourne Veterans Memorial Park, and it will be sponsored by local businesses.

Saturday, Sept. 21, is the date for the 15th Annual Woodbourne Park 5K Family Run/Walk at Woodbourne Veterans Memorial Park.
The race/walk will be hosted by the Wantage Township Recreation Department and local race sponsors. The event will be run entirely in the park on gorgeous and gentle certified paved double loops. There will be no traffic on the course. Water will be on the course and time splits at miles 1 and 2.
“We are excited to be holding this family running/walking event for the 15th year,” said Creighton McBride, Race Director. “Last year, our 14th year, we had 150 runners and walkers!”
The race starts at 9 a.m. with awards at 10 a.m. Registration the day of the event starts at 8 a.m. The cost is only $5 with registration prior to Sept. 18, and $8 day of the race. The registration fee includes Race T-shirts, goodie bags, snacks and awards. T-shirts and Goodie Bags limited to the first 150 registrations.
