VTHS graduate inducted into Sussex County Hall of Fame
Vernon. Ryan Olsen, a 2004 Vernon Township High School graduate and state champion swimmer was posthumously inducted into the Sussex County Sports Hall of Fame. Olsen died in 2008.

Vernon Township High School graduate Ryan Olsen was inducted into the Sussex County Hall of Fame this past Friday night.
Olsen died in 2008.
He was a state champion in 2003 in the 50 freestyle, 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay and in 2004 in the 50 and 100 freestyle. He was a high school All-American from 2002-04 and he has set many school and county records.
Former Vernon Township High School Head Coach Bob Trenz gave Ryan's induction speech.
