Vernon youth football accepting registration

VERNON — Vernon Youth Football & Cheer is in the process of hosting registration for the 2014 season.

Parents can registered their child online at www.vernonyouthfootball.com. Parents must register their family on the website before registering children online.

There also will be registration on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Vernon PAL. There will be additional registrations on Sunday, May 3 from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and a final registration on June 8 from noon until 5 p.m. at Maple Grange Park.

Cheerleading tryouts wil take place the week of June 9-12. Deteails will be on the website. The pre-comp squad is open to cheerleaders entering kindergarten through second grade in September. There will be a pre-competition clinic and parent meeting on June 11.

Tackle football registration, competition cheer and recreational cheer will be $150 per child and flag football will be $100 per child. There will be a maximum of $400 per family.

Tackle football jerseys will be $80.
