Vernon head coach Tepper named to Hall of Fame

VERNON — Chuck Tepper, varsity football coach at Vernon Township High School, will be inducted into the New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association Hall of Fame. The award will be presented on April 14 at the Pines Manor in Edison with a noon reception.
Coach Tepper, who has coached football at Vernon for 16 years, joins an impressive list of VTHS coaches who have been previously inducted into the NJ Scholastic Coaches Association Hall of Fame. All Vernon inductees were nominated by Bill Edelman, athletic director at VTHS.
The previous coaches inducted are: John Ryan, 1998 Soccer and Track and Field; Stefanie Gastaldello, 1998 Field Hockey and Track and Field; Robert Trenz, 2001 Swimming; Ray Morris, 2003 Cross Country; Bill Cooper, 2007 Wrestling; Jeff DeYoung, 2012 Volleyball.
