Soccer teams raise $2,000
Vernon. Vernon and North Warren boys' soccer teams raise $2,000 money for "LaceUp for Pediatric Cancer" as players wore gold shoelaces.

The varsity boys soccer team hosted North Warren on Sept. 21.
Both teams participated in the "LaceUp for Pediatric Cancer" cause. Players from both teams wore gold shoe laces. Total funds raised has exceeded $2,000 between both schools and the money will go to the Go4theGoal Foundation.
Head Coach Joe Jones of Vernon and Head Coach Marcos Tirado of North Warren coordinated the event.
