Sussex County. Congratulations to the Lenape Valley Patriots soccer teams for a fantastic season ending in championships.
“They are officially Flight 2 champions!” David J. Ruppert said of the boys team. “Special thanks to our wonderful coaches Dave, Dan and Greg for all that they do and all that they’ve given us over the years!
The Lady Patriots are officially Flight 3 U-9 champions, finishing up the season with a 5-2 win over Mountain Lakes and finishing 7-1 for the season!
“Thank you to all 13 of you little ladies for giving your all since August when we all first stepped on a field together,” said a June 20 Facebook posting. “Thank you for learning and growing together. Thank you for always showing up and putting in the work. Thank you for trusting me in teaching you how to not only play this game, but to love this game. I am beyond proud of each and every one of these Lady Patriots! I am excited to grow as a team together and to see you achieve amazing things in the future!
