Hayes, Brich win at state skiing

Vernon Township High School senior Kyle Hayes picked up two state titles at the recent New Jersey state skiing championships at Mountain Creek.
He won both the boys' giant slalom and slalom.
Sophomore Martina Brich won the girls' state title in the giant slalom.
Sophomore Matt Mavares was third and senior Nick Zinno was sixth in the boys' giant slalom. Tavares ws sixth in the boys' slalom.
