Fioretti, DeGraff crowned 2013 champions

HARDYSTON — Anthony Fioretti won the low gross score of 73 and Pete DeGraff had a low net score of 62 to win the men's division of the 2013 member appreciation championsip at Ballyowen Golf Course.

Carol Julic was the top performer in the women's division with a low gross of 93 and Mary Lou Nicoletti had a low net of 63.

Rick Thompson was the Calloway winner with a score of 70.

In the skill competitions, Nancy Basenese was the closest to the pin winner with a shot that landed 18-2 from the pin on hole No. 4 and Mike Kopack on hole No. 11 just 5-9 from the pin. Longest drive honors went to Demetrio Cutri on hole No. 5 in the Men’s Division and Carlo Julich on hole No. 14 in the Ladies Division.

For six months, Members of the Crystal Springs Golf Resort have competed in events at different resort golf courses to qualify for the Member Appreciation Championship.
