The New Jersey Department of Transportation has announced several road closures in Sussex County, due to the extremes of Hurricane Sandy. The department urges anyone driving to use caution. For more information check 511nj.org. There is a downed tree on Route 23 northbound North of CR 519/Greenville Rd in Wantage Township. A downed tree on wires on NJ 284 both directions at Old Route 84 in Wantage, has caused all lanes to close. There is a downed pole and downed tree on NJ 23 both directions North of Wantage School Road. All lanes are closed. All lanes are closed due to a downed tree on NJ 94 southbound at North of White Lake Road in Sparta Township. There is a downed tree on NJ 15 both directions South of NJ 94 in Lafayette Township. All lanes are closed. A downed tree on US 206 northbound area of County Route 560/Dingmans Road in Sandyston caused all lanes to close. There is a downed tree on US 206 both directions County Route 521/Montague River Road to North of County Route 521/Montague River road in Montague Township. All lanes closed and detoured.
