WANTAGE — The Clove Hill Manor Road final ordinance unanimously passed, and news of the end of the cell tower was reported at the Wantage Township Committee meeting on Jan. 30.
The Township Committee unanimously voted to accept the Clove Hill Manor subdivision roads. The situation had gone on for about 12 years because of design and economic necessities, thus, preventing the development from completing, including the roads.
Three Clove Hill Manor residents in the audience said, “Thank you!” and “We got our roads!” to the committee with big smiles.
Administrator James Doherty reported to the Wantage Committee, that after completing their feasibility study, Verizon decided to not pursue the cell tower at the Wantage Town Hall.
