Wantage First Aid Squad inducted in new year

WANTAGE — The 2013 Wantage First Aid Squad was inducted at a recent committee meeting.
The squad is a nonprofit volunteer organization established in 1992 to provide all Wantage residents and visitors with emergency medical services. Additionally, they provide services to the community during football games, special events, disasters, and respond to mutual aid requests from adjacent towns.
Their coverage area is about 70 square miles, which encompasses approximately 10,000 residents.
