Vernon. The Vernon Township School District received a permit from Sussex County for its orthophosphate treatment of its water system. District Business Administrator Steve Kepnes said he hopes to have the sytem up and running by the middle of February. "We had to get certain style pumps and tanks," Kepnes said on Jan. 16. "They will most likely be in by next week."
