Vernon Township honors police, longtime school board member

VERNON — The Vernon Township Council and Mayor Victor Marotta made several proclamations in recognition for community commitment.
Council President Patrick Rizzuto, presented a plaque to Police Chief Randy Mills in honor of Police Week, May 10-16.
Also recognized was John F. McGowan of the Vernon Township School District Board of Education. McGowan was recognized for 30 years of service with the school board and is a long time supporter of Vernon High School athletic programs.
