Kelsey Falkowski of Vernon Township High School recently received the Monmouth University-William Roberts Charitable Foundation Outstanding Teacher award.
A former student, Melissa Wilson of the Class of 2019, nominated him, saying, “Mr. Falkowski was the best high school teacher I had. I took his Criminal Justice, Civics and AP US Government classes and I could not have asked for a better teacher.
“He helped me find my love for law and passion to become a lawyer. He was very compassionate and supportive of his students but at the same time helped them shine and tap into their potential as a student.”
Falkowski was celebrated in May at a Monmouth University gala for making a significant positive difference in the lives of his students that extends far beyond his social studies classes.
