Vernon students take part in Model UN

Members of the VTHS Model UN team came home from the competition at St. Peter's University winners in several categories. Vernon — The Vernon Twp. High School Model UN Team participated in the two-day competition at St. Peter's College in Jersey City on March 1 and 2.
Vernon represented France.
There were approximately 450 students who participated and represented 35 different countries. The following students won awards: Emily Monschauer & Aileen Bancroft, Political & Decolonization Committee, Best Position Paper; Nick Pohero, Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Committee, Best Delegation; Chandler Carrier, Social, Humanitarian, & Cultural Committee, Best Delegation & Best Delegate; AJ Rodriquez and Chris Ploch, Security Council, Best Delegation. Co-Advisors are Mr. Kelsey Falkowski and Mr. Matt Trokan, VTHS Social Studies teachers.
