Vernon student a national merit scholarship finalist

VERNON — Christopher Monschauer, a senior at Vernon Township High School, is a finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program, based on his performance on the PSAT test taken sophomore year.
Monschauer, currently ranked first in his senior class, made it through the first round of 15,000 semi-finalists. He is now one of only 8,000 finalists in the country.
