The Vernon Township School District and the township Police Department have signed their annual memorandum of agreement.
It documents the commitment by both to work together as equal partners to support young people who commit minor offenses at school.
The parties to the agreement recognize the value of cooperation and communication with respect to drugs, weapons, violence and school security problems as they relate to students and school grounds.
