Valley Road School holds kindergarten registration

The Stanhope School District has announced the kindergarten registration schedule for Valley Road School.

Registration for the 2021-22 school year will take place online at stanhopeschools.org/registration. Registrants will receive an email or phone call confirmation, at which time a screening appointment will be scheduled.

Kindergarten screenings will take place on Tuesday, May 4, and on Thursday, May 6, by appointment only. Appointments will be scheduled in the order in which students are registered and will be confirmed by school staff after registration is complete.

Kindergarten orientation will be held on Tuesday, May 25, and Wednesday, May 26, from 9 to 10 a.m. Students and families will be assigned an orientation date once registered.

Children must be five years old on or before Oct. 1, 2021, to register for kindergarten.

Current immunization records, along with an entrance physical and an official state birth certificate, will be required, along with two proofs of residency, before students can be enrolled.
