The Grange now offers fixed price menu

With a recipe of creative culinary style, thoughtful consideration and locally grown products, chef and owner of The Grange, James Haurey, offers diners an all inclusive taste of the region’s bounty through prix fixe dinners. The prix fixe options are available daily. Dinner patrons ordering the four-course dinner may choose four menu items from both the “Black Board” menu and the daily soup and salads for $50 per person.

Haurey's menu shows his commitment to locally sourced products, including seasonal harvests from Hudson Valley farms.

“Directly working with the local farmers lets me not only know what they’re growing, but what’s going into their soil. Knowing who is certified organic, certified naturally grown, or conventional, and who does or does not use chemicals and GMO seeds is unmeasurable knowledge,” said Haurey.

The Grange menu transforms through the seasons, at times even daily, allowing for the fare that’s served to be at their peak of freshness and of the highest nutritional content, free of waxes, chemicals and preservatives.

“The Grange gives me the platform to support a more environmentally and socially responsible food system," said Haurey. "The multi-course fixed price option introduces the diverse and abundant bounty available right here in the Hudson Valley.”

The new prix fixe options at The Grange allow diners to create a customized, multi-course dining experience by selecting a combination of plates from soup and salad, appetizers, entrees and desserts.

The Grange is a farm-to-table restaurant focusing on community, sustainable options, organic and natural products. The menu can change daily based on the in-season produce available from local farms. Besides freshly made soups and sandwiches, The Grange offers specialty, seasonal menu items in a casual, intimate setting. In addition to the seasonally changing menu and the prix fixe option, The Grange also plays host to quarterly openings showcasing a variety of local artists work, welcomes patrons to bring their own vinyl to spin on the turntable, and coming soon, dinner and a movie night, beer and wine tastings and local farm dinners.
