Sussex Middle School students display projects

SUSSEX BOROUGH — The students at Sussex Middle School displayed their projects during STEAM Night on Thursday, Dec. 10.

Projects were featured from the following classes: Mathematical Problem Solving, Research Design, Game Design, Engineering, Environmental Science, Package and Pattern Design, Digital Presentation, Digital Design, Junk Wars and Public Speaking.

STEAM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics, exposes students to a variety of academic challenges. Students work through these challenges to solve problems and create solutions. Students are learning why teamwork is a critical component for success and are demonstrating creativity as they work to find solutions.

Projects showcased during the event demonstrated innovative thinking and unique problem-solving skills.
