Students inducted into National Honor Society in Vernon
VERNON. The ceremony at the high school included a candle lighting.
New members were inducted into the National Honor Society (NHS) at Vernon Township High School, the first induction ceremony held indoors since before the coronavirus pandemic.
NHS president Victoria Annunziata, vice president Colin Geisen, treasurer Peace Hevi and secretary Gabrielle Miller conducted the ceremony, which candle lighting and information on each new member’s achievements.
The new members are Marissa Ajamian, Brooke Cimaglia, Maryanna Cova-Gomez, Avery Crafton, Julia Crafton, Avia Critchett, Brianna Eustice, Michael Evanich, Jack Foco, Morgan Freifelder, Jacob Gelfand, Joshua Gelfand, Adrianna Goolsby, Leigh Rose Hart, Daniel Lovett, Bailey Mann, Katelyn Petak, Makenna Thomas, Annabella Tozzi, Sophia Van Den Brock, Sidney VanTassel, Joan Vince, Kailey Vogel and Owen Young.
Current members are Natalia Arroyo, Alayna Carcich, Ava delRosario, Richard Healy, Jessica LeFort, Riley Lewicki, Aiden Lubeck, Dante Mass, Logan Peek, Lauren Waschek and Christopher Wynne.
