In the spirit of Thanksgiving and giving back, members of the Autism Spectrum Disorders program at Wantage Elementary School went to ShopRite to buy items for the local food pantry.
They used money collected by teachers.
In preparing for the trip, the students counted the money collected, looked through ads and prepared a shopping list.
They were able to purchase stuffing, corn bread mix, pasta, turkey gravy, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, juice, cake and cookie mixes, and potatoes.
