SUSSEX BOROUGH — On Wednesday, March 16, 150 students and their teachers from the Augusta Pre-School in Irvington visited High Point Regional High School as part of the Pass It Along Program.
Christine Henry, the adviser for High Point Regional High Schools Pass It Along group invited the Augusta Pre-School to High Point as part of a goodwill exchange between the schools. HP students visited the Augusta school in December and brought gifts and refreshments to the children.
More than 100 High Point Regional High School students participated in this amazing day. The children and their High Point Regional High School “buddies” attended a Science Fair with Aaron Baker, a preview of the Spring Musical with Theresa Riccardi, a music lesson with Dori Martin, a media simulation with Kevin Fenlon, art projects with Lisa Hodgins and Erin Meyers and story time with Mimi Fenlon in the media center.
A pizza party was provided to all participants by Mr. Jon Tallamy, our principal. Student leaders of Pass It Along include: Ember Thomas, President of the HP chapter, Jen Rand, Nate Lawlor, Kelly Miller, and Adam Niehoff.
