New pastor installed at area church

FRANKLIN — The Rev. Julie Raffety will be installed to First Presbyterian Church of Franklin at 2:30 p.m. June 25 by Newton Presbytery.
Rafferty moved from Rockford, Ill., where she was an Associate Pastor for Westminster Presbyterian Church for four years. Julie attended Denver Seminary in Littleton, Colo., for her theological education where she was under care with Denver Presbytery.
She began her ministry with First Presbyterian Church on April 2 and has been especially impressed by the generosity and hospitality of the congregation.
