New bistro opens in Wantage

WANTAGE — Sussex County’s newest restaurant, Celine’s Bistro, on Route 23 North in Wantage, is open for business and eager to welcome you.

The restaurant building on Route 23, just north of Hamburg, has housed many different restaurants over the years, but Craig Mondesando, Celine’s general manager, said he believes Celine’s will quickly become the stand-out favorite.

The menu at Celine’s offers Italian comfort food and American steaks, burgers and pizza. But Celine’s Bistro specializes in authentic Cajun-Creole cuisine and regularly hosts Crawfish Boils on the weekends.

“Come taste genuine Louisiana cooking at its best," said Craig Mondesando, general manager at Celine’s. “Our Cajun Creole cuisine is freshly sourced and authentic."

Downstairs from Celine’s Bistro is the newly renovated Celine’s Speakeasy featuring a large bar, pool tables, dart boards and dance floor.
