Historic Lusscroft Farm in Wantage decked their halls for the holiday season on the first weekend of December, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

Guests of the farm were able to tour the Manor House, the Cottage and the Carriage House, all holiday decorated as well as local vendors displaying their goods.

With the perfect venue to begin Christmas shopping, shoppers were able to browse Webb’s Candles, Nicole’s Handiwork, CBD products and handcrafted wood and knitted items. The Christmas Bargain Room seemed a big hit with many items priced at 50 cents.

Curious visitors could also partake of angel card readings and also learn about the history of Lusscroft Farm.

The Skyland String band entertained as well as Non-Stop Denny and a Christmas Sing-Along. Pony rides and the always popular horse drawn carriage rides entertained afternoon guests.

All proceeds from the weekend open house go solely toward the restoration and upkeep of the historic farm.

Lusscroft Farm has a full roster of activities coming up in the new year like guided nature hikes, maple sugaring, a photography contest and horse shows. For a complete schedule of all 2020 activities visit LusscroftFarm.org.
