Fourth- and fifth-grade students held their spring concert May 23 at Lounsberry Hollow School in Vernon.
The hour-long performance included three songs by the combined fourth- and fifth-grade chorus students, four songs by the combined orchestra, a song by the fourth-grade band, and three songs by the fifth-grade band.
The evening began with the chorus singing “Happy” by Pharrell Williams and ended with the fifth-grade band performing the theme song from “Star Wars.”
The band was led by Jaclyn Havington, the orchestra by Rachel Berls and Jen Krott, and the chorus by Christian Frentzko. They were assisted by Max Taylor, Casey Dziuba, Jody Young and several students from the Glen Meadow Middle School band.
