“Increasing the Library’s hours of service for Sussex County residents continues to be our highest priority,” stated Library Director Will Porter. “All locations will now be open by 9 a.m. Monday-Saturday, and most locations are open at least two evenings a week. We hope to add more evenings as budget and staffing allow.”
As library hours expand so do the many reasons to stop by your local branch.
“There are a lot of things library users can do from home,” said Mr. Porter. “Access databases, download eBooks and audio content, even read digital magazines. But the expanded hours allow us to offer more on-site programming as well. Story hours, nutrition classes, yoga, art instruction – there are so many talented people in our County eager to share their interests and experience, it’s great to give them a place to meet.”
