‘Learn the Library’ workshops planned
NEWTON. The series launches Friday with an in-depth look at using the Consumer Reports database.
The Sussex County Library System (SCLS) is starting a new “Learn the Library” workshop series for adults seeking to navigate the online resources available at the library.
The workshops are free and open to the public.
Conducted at Main Library in Newton, workshops will be held the first Friday afternoon of each month and repeated on the third Wednesday evening.
The series launches with an in-depth look at using the Consumer Reports database.
That workshop will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5 and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24 at the Main Library, 125 Morris Turnpike, Newton.
No registration is required; space is first come, first served.
Bring a smartphone, tablet or laptop, or use available Chromebooks to learn how to access and use the library’s premium subscription to Consumer Reports.
