Learn the basics of elder care law
NEWTON — Bristol Glen will be hosting an educational presentation at the next Resource Café on Wednesday, Jan. 15 beginning at 10 a.m. in the Town Hall meeting room.
With people living longer comes the need for extra medical and financial planning. This program focuses on several basics of elder care and elder law and will be relevant to a broad audience who are planning for this later years.
Topics will include:
General estate planning, including why you should have a will, a power of attorney and an advance directive for health care.
Long-term health care planning
Medicare and Medicaid for payment of medical bills
The program will be presented by a panel of Elder Law Attorneys from the law firm of Hollander, Strelzik, Pasculli, Pasculli, Hinkes, Wojcik, Gacquin, Vandenberg & Hontz, LLC.
