Fourth graders learn about Ruby Bridges

VERNON — Fourth-grade students at Cedar Mountain Primary School recently learned about Ruby Bridges, known for being the first black student to attend an all-white elementary school in the South.

Students were touched by her story, by her influence in how they can make a difference and reviewed and discussed how they too can make a difference at a young age.
