Fatima Church plans prayer activity

VERNON — Our Lady of Fatima Church will host a power of prayer activity on Jan. 25 from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the church hall. on Breakneck Road.

The group will listen to a CD about Jeremiah Denton, a U.S. Navy admiral, who was a prisoner during the Vietnam war. Daily prayer was said to have enabled him to survive his captivity.
