Fashions and Jewelry coming to Lusscroft Farm
Wantage. The Heritage and Agriculture Association will host the event on Sunday, Oct. 13.
The Heritage and Agriculture Association, Inc., is hosting "Fashions and Jewelry of the 1920's and 30's" on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 1 p.m. at Lusscroft Farm, 50 Neilson Road, Wantage.
This fascinating talk, with displays, will be held in the Carriage House and will be presented by Nancy Lydia Chiappini and Jeannette Perry. Nancy Lydia Chiappini is an adjunct professor of art and art history at Northampton County Community College in Bethlehem, Pa. She is an artist in the areas of textiles and fibers, oils, acrylic, watercolor, bronze, metals and clay. She has an intense interest in art history and costume history and it strongly influences her work. She received a BA Magna Cum Laude in Fine Art and Biology, an MA in Fine Arts Studio, Metalwork and Jewelry Design, and a Post BA Art Certification for Art Education Grades K-12 from Montclair State University. She has had solo exhibits in the Nazareth Art Center and the Dutot Museum in Delaware, PA., which featured wearable art forms, landscapes, figures and abstractions in which llama fiber was used.
