Matthew Okken, 18, of Barry Lakes has become the 32nd Eagle Scout of Boy Scouts Troop 912 in Vernon.
He is a student at Vernon Township High School.
Okken’s Eagle Scout project was building a Music Sensory Wall as requested by Leslie Lombardi, a teacher at Walnut Ridge School, for the school’s outdoor activity area.
He designed and built the wall, which was made of pots, pans, a xylophone and a whisk among other items.
