Arts, history grant applications welcome
NEWTON. The Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council will hold in-person and online workshops on the grant program.

The Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council (SCAHC) is accepting applications from all county visual and performing arts groups as well as other nonprofit organizations planning an arts project.
The council also is accepting applications from history groups and other nonprofits planning a history project.
Nonprofits must be 501(c)(3) certified, as determined by the IRS.

A grant workshop will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30 at the SCAHC office, 133 Spring St., Newton. The workshop will be repeated online at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5.
All new and former applicants are required to attend one of the workshop sessions. Attendance is optional for current re-grantee groups.
