High Point wins home opener
Wantage. The High Point Wildcats football team routed North Warren, 28-0, to earn its first win of the season.





High Point Regional High School (Sussex County, New Jersey) defeated North Warren Regional High School (Warren County, New Jersey) in varsity football on Friday, September 20, 2019. The final score was 28-0. The game took place at High Point Regional High School.
The High Point Wildcats executed a dominate performance in their home-opener, defeating North Warren, 28-0, on Friday, Sept. 20.
Travis Tallamy led High Point with two scores and 102 yards rushing on 24 attempts
Quarterback Alex Buchwald ran for 25 yards and a touchdown and connected with Connor Lake for a 28-yard passing touchdown for the Wildcats (1-2), who led 21-0 by halftime.
Halftime performances by the High Point Regional High School Marching Wildcats and the youth Hawks cheerleaders joining the high school Wildcats cheerleaders kept the hometown crowd pumped up.
North Warren fell to 1-2.
