Vernon chamber plans scarecrow contest
Vernon. Township Chamber of Commerce will host a scarecrow contest open to township residents and businesses.

The Vernon Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an Annual Vernon Scarecrow Contest, judged by Cindi Aubereger, Jennifer Hopper, Stephanie Scilingo and Debbi Coulsen.
All scarecrows must have a real pumpkin head and the participant must be a Vernon Township resident or business.
To be part of the Contest, have our judges review your scarecrow, plus be part of our online voting for People’s Choice Award & People’s Choice Best Business you must submit the scarecrow to info@vernonchamber.com by 6 p.m. on Oct. 21.
On Sunday, Oct. 27, judges will travel around and select 1st, 2nd, 3rd and honorable mention awards. All winners will be announced on Facebook on Oct. 31, at 6 a.m.
Online voting for “People’s Choice Favorite Scarecrow” and “People’s Choice Favorite Business” occurs from Oct. 28, 9 a.m. and will close out on Oct. 30 at midnight!
