Callow to manage BHHS office
VERNON. Alison Callow is treasurer of the Sussex County Association of Realtors.
Alison Callow has been named the new manager of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services (BHHS) Gross & Jansen Realtors’ Vernon office.
Born and raised in New Jersey, she moved to the Vernon area more than 27 years ago.
Raising four girls, she knew that her community would be a top priority for her and her family. She has been committed to all things Vernon, volunteering with the School & Community Associations, Vernon Girl Scouts, St John Vianney and Community Outreach.
Callow served on the Board of Education from 2002 to 2005 and helped create the Vernon Education Foundation.
Her professional background was in finance, banking, management, accounting and taxation before becoming a licensed New Jersey real estate agent and broker.
She has served on the executive board of the Sussex County Association of Realtors for 18 years. Her peers elected her as 2015 Realtor of the Year.
She now is treasurer of the Sussex County Association of Realtors.
As office manager of BHHS, Callow will assist agents in business development and break down numerous programs and tools available through the Berkshire Hathaway System to help agents provide the best service to their clients.
“We are excited and enthused with this management announcement, as we know that Berkshire Hathaway Gross & Jansen Realtors continues to be the consumer’s choice when it comes to local real estate,” said Karen Glowacki, president of the company.
“Alison’s leadership and agent development skills, combined with her knowledge of our community, will allow the Vernon office to continue to grow and remain a market leader.”
She can be reached on her direct line at 973-271-2908 or at the BHHS office at 973-764-5555.
BHHS also recently opened a new office in Kinnelon.
“Our team has been involved in the Morris County area for many years ... the Route 23 corridor is the gateway to Sussex County so it was just the next logical step for our expansion,” Glowacki said.
An open house reception, with food, prizes and giveaways, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept.16 at the office, 2 Kiel Ave., Kinnelon.
