Born in Paterson, N.J., he grew up in Glen Rock, enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1966, and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge from the service, he went to work as a machinist, married and moved to Sussex County, where he lived with his wife, Fran, for 39 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Prior to retiring in 2009, he worked doing what he loved as the Sporting Goods Manager for Walmart in Franklin, N.J.

Ron was a loving husband, devoted father and father-in-law, beloved grandfather, brother and uncle. Ron leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love to his four children, Craig, Ashley, Keith and Stacey; his two grandchildren, Caleb and Layla; as well as treasured memories with his brother, Greg, sister, Joan, and late brother, Jack. His nieces and nephews are blessed with fond memories of a vibrant, fun, caring man. Those who knew him will miss his wit and humor, warmth and generosity.

It’s the love of God modeled in Ron which knits this family together. Ron is now residing in Heaven because of his faith in Jesus.
