Margaret Kelly

Margaret Kelly (nee Connor), 91 years old, died after a brief illness at Newton Medical Center, Newton, N.J., on Sunday, March 2, 2014. Born to Ernest and Estella Connor in Hamburg, NJ, she had lived in Hamburg, and then Deland, Fla., before moving to Newton, N.J.

Mrs. Kelly was a hairdresser and owner and operator of Silhouette Salon in Rockaway, N.J., for many years retiring in 1970. She was an avid reader and enjoyed painting.

Mrs. Kelly was predeceased by her husband, William Kelly, 2 sisters, Maxine and Ethel and a brother, Harry and was the devoted mother of Clayton Rowe and his wife, Maureen of Hampton Twp., NJ. Loving grandmother of James and Lori. Cherished by 3 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Merril Connor of Exeter, Pa., and Shirley Nagle of Vernon Twp., N.J.
