Linda Jane Raperto

Linda Jane Raperto, 57 years old, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014. Born to the late Helen Current and John Freitas in New York City, NY, she has lived in Franklin, NJ before moving to Newton, NJ.

Linda worked as a Home Health Care Nurse. She had a big heart and cared deeply for her loved ones.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Helen Current (2000) and John Freitas (2000) and was the devoted mother of Vanessa Larrea of Newport Richey, Fla., Tracy Raperto of Largo, Fla.;, James Raperto, Jr. and his wife, Kristi, of Vernon Twp., NJ and Michael Raperto of Franklin, NJ. Linda was the loving grandmother of Zachary Chamberlin, Mia Larrea, Christopher and Kaitlin Collett, Taylor and Ella Raperto and Noah De Graw; dear sister of Henry Freitas, Richard Strickland, Louis Freitas and John Freitas, III all of Texas.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg, NJ on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Repast will follow at the Franklin Fire Department.
