Irene Depace Tranchida

Irene DePace Tranchida, 77, of Vernon, Passed on Monday, April 9, 2018, in her home under Hospice care. Irene is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joseph M. DePace. She is also survived by her children Arlene French-Dutter and husband Bob Dutter of Lake Ariel, PA, Joe DePace and wife Tamara of Myrtle Beach, SC, Doreen Ziegler and husband Jason Ziegler of Wantage, NJ; 6 Grandchildren Ronnie, Kenny, Joseph, Christopher, Destinee, and Rianna. Irene was born in Manhattan and daughter of Irene and Frank Tranchida. She graduated from Mount Saint John Academy in Gladstone NJ. She spent her life in the Vernon Township School District and Ziegler Dance Centre Nurturing kids. Mrs. DePace was also a former Marriage Encounter Counselor, and former Girl Scout Leader.
A loving wife and mother who was dedicated to her family. She was a kind, loving and generous person who would help any person in need. Her heart-soaked love and kindness towards all life had to offer touched everyone she encountered.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded by her son Christopher in 1973, sister Cookie Tranchida in 1992, brother Robert Tranchida 2011, and Son in-law Ronald French 2011.

Relatives and friends were received on Friday April 13,m from 4-8pm at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vander Hoof Court). The family gathered at funeral home on Saturday April 14, at 9 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Service at St. Francis de Sales Church.
