Ian Angus Johnstone

    Ian Angus Johnstone, 78 years old, died after a short illness at his residence on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Born to Peter and Susan Johnstone in Bloomfield, N.J., he lived there for many years before moving to Vernon Twp., N.J., in the 1960s.

    Mr. Johnstone served with the United States Army during the Korea and Vietnam Wars working as a Radio Equipment Operator and then worked as an Installer for New Jersey Bell for 31 years retiring in 1995. He was also the owner/partner of the McAfee Ski and Sport Shop in Vernon Twp., N.J., from 1969-92.

    Mr. Johnstone was predeceased by his sister, Helen Tanis(1992) and is survived by many dear friends.
