Florence E. Coombs

Florence E. Coombs, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at her residence after a long illness. Born in Port Jervis, N.Y., to the late Claude and Margaret Schoonover, Mrs. Coombs had

lived in New York before moving to Wantage. She was predeceased by her first husband, Walter Brisbane in 1982; her daughter, Suzanne in 2005, and her brother, Claude Schoonover in 2011. Mrs. Coombs is survived by her husband of 28 years, William A. Coombs, Jr.; her three sons, Gary Brisbane and his wife, Colleen, of Williamsburg, Virginia, Randy Brisbane and his wife, Cindy, of Franklin, and Douglas Brisbane of Lafayette; her two daughters, Linda Allen and her husband, Timothy, of Morrisville, Pa., and Debbie Dryburgh and her husband Douglas of Langhorne, Pa.; her

stepson, William Coombs of Holiday, Fla.; her stepdaughter, Sandra Coombs of Holiday, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex.

Friends may pay their respects to the family on Saturday one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home.
