Anne V. Dunstan

Anne V. Dunstan, age 94, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017, at her residence while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Sussex to the late Fred and Effie Vandruff, Mrs. Dunstan lived in Sussex all of her life. She had been employed as a receptionist at the former National Community Bank in Sussex and was a member of the Sussex United Methodist Church. Mrs. Dunstan was predeceased by her husband Walter "Bud" Dunston, Jr. in 1995 and her sister, Eleanor. She is survived by her two sons, Richard Dunstan and his wife, Jane, of Wantage and Bill Dunstan and his wife Beth of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; her daughter, Barbara Dunstan and her lifelong partner, Diane Young of Orleans, Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren, Erin Siipola and her husband Jeff, Ashlee Haggerty and her husband Devin, Ryan Dunstan and his wife Lindsay, and Shawn Dunstan; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Mason, Emma, and Tucker. Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Wednesday prior
to the service from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Private burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
