High Point counselor selected as Counselor of Sussex County

Lisa Frisbie, a freshman transition counselor for High Point Regional High School in Sussex, was selected as the 2012-2013 Counselor of the County for Sussex County.

Frisbie has been an educator 24 years. She received her bachelors degree from Springfield College and her masters degree from William Paterson University. She received the award on May 22 at New Jersey City University, the sponsor and host of the awards luncheon.

Candidates are selected for the Counselor of the County Award at their county-level school counselor associations. They are selected because of their ability to deliver an effective school counseling program which focuses on academic development, career counseling, and personal/social support.
