Michelle Sonnema to marry Justin MacDonald

Frank and Cathy Sonnema of Highland Lakes, N.J., and Thomas and Corinne Macdonald of Milford, Conn., have announced the engagement of their children, Dr. Michelle Sonnema and Justin MacDonald. Michelle and Justin currently reside in Chester, N.Y.

Michelle graduated from Vernon High School in 2003, Rutgers University in 2007, and Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She is a veterinarian at Goosepond Animal Hospital in Monroe, N.Y.

Justin graduated from Jonathon Law High School in 2003 and from Virginia Tech in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He is a nuclear reactor operator at Indian Point Energy Center in Buchanan, N.Y.

An August 2014 wedding at Minerals Resort in Vernon, N.J., is planned.
