5 win scholarships

The Sparta Woman’s Club has awarded five scholarships, totaling $6,000.
Three recipients attended Sparta High School:
• Milena Oberle, who will attend Kings College to study pre-med bBiology.
• Catie Siipola, who will attend Ohio University to study pre-nursing.
• Jolie Neuschatz, who received the Sparta Woman’s Club Art Scholarship Award. She will attend the School of Art at Pratt Institute.
Another scholarship was awarded to Sussex County Technical School student Alexandra Perez, who will study musical theatre at Marymount Manhattan College.
Emma Redding of Vernon was the fifth scholarship recipient. Her major is secondary education at Rowan University and Sussex County Community College.
The Sparta Woman’s Club, which is dedicated to community service, offers community involvement, interesting projects and programs, and opportunities to grow, meet others and make a difference.
